iving in Memorial City just got a little swankier, with the addition of The McAdams, a new luxury mid-rise that looks to blend the day-to-day of apartment dwelling with the amenities of a high-end resort.

The McAdams' 333 all-rental apartments include studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, ranging in size from 563 square feet up to 1,821 square feet, each offering 10-foot ceilings, custom cabinetry, and a natural palette. Units are available for move-in now.

The interior design by Marly + Co. showcase a crisp urban flair using a mix of glass, wood, and stainless steel. Natural light and high ceilings translate to bright open spaces, while private balconies offer  views of Houston’s skyline. Certain floor plans offer kitchens with islands, and a stainless steel appliance package is available. Some residences on the first floor also come equipped with a traditional outdoor yard that extends toward the side walk.

Units rent for around $1,700 a month for a studio up to more than $5,000 for a three-bedroom, three-bath, so the McAdams sits squarely within the sought-after young professional/empty nest model. With its prime location in Memorial City, on Barryknoll Lane, it's in the heart of the action in an ever-expanding neighborhood that endlessly reinvents what it means to be modern, exclusive, and desirable.

Clearly, the McAdams seeks to be part of the trend in apartment homes that provides its residents with practical floor plans for daily living and communal spaces that up the ante on luxury style.

“The McAdams adds an exciting asset to the already outstanding MetroNational portfolio,” said Ben Pisklak, founding principal of Slate in a press release announcing the project. “The unit and amenity design was intended to appeal to a wide range of renters, while creating a place for people to call home.”
