With a 9,000-square-foot amenities floor, The McAdams might make you wonder if you’re actually living in a hotel.

WITH NO SHORTAGE OF COMPETITION for renters in the city, developers are pulling out all the stop. That’s to the benefit of residents at The McAdams, the newest 333-unit luxury mid-rise in Memorial City from Houston-based developer MetroNational.

Studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units range in size from 563 to 1,821 square feet and in price from $1,515 to $4,865 a month. Sleek, modern interiors by Marly + Co mix glass, wood, and stainless steel and combine natural light with 10-foot ceilings. Private balconies and terraces boast skyline views, while some first-floor units even have the rare apartment benefit of a traditional outdoor yard.

Granite counters, hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, and custom cabinetry—the hallmarks of all luxury living—are present and accounted for, too. But it’s the view from the top that’s most spectacular: That’s the eighth floor, complete with 9,000 square feet of next-level amenities.

Think infinity edge pool, private cabanas, outdoor fireplace, open-air terrace, kitchen and bar, and lounge seating. Elsewhere in the building, more resort-style amenities include a 24-hour gym, theater and game room, pet park and washing station, lounge and library, courtyard with grilling areas, and a catering kitchen.
